Working with yarn and simple tools to create something useful by hand is both relaxing and deeply rewarding. In this cozy, hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to use a round loom to knit their own hat from start to finish.

Designed especially for beginners, this class introduces the fundamentals of loom knitting in a clear and approachable way. Participants will learn how to cast on, knit, and finish a hat while gaining an understanding of the simple techniques that make loom knitting both accessible and enjoyable.

While creating a hat will be the primary focus, participants will also receive an introduction to several other types of looms. They will have an opportunity to work with peg looms, blanket looms, inkle looms, and other simple looms while learning about the different woven projects that can be created with them.

Beyond the practical skill of making a warm hat, the workshop offers a welcoming and relaxed setting where creativity and fellowship can naturally unfold. By the end of the class, each participant will leave with a finished hat and the confidence to continue loom knitting at home.
