Creation Walk

On this Creation Walk, we’ll slow down, look closely, and marvel at whatever crosses our path—birds in the trees, butterflies on the breeze, animal tracks, wildflowers, and more. With field guides in hand and eyes wide open, we’ll learn to observe, identify, and give thanks for the creatures God has made. It’s a refreshing and faith-filled way to enjoy the outdoors, sharpen our curiosity, and grow in wonder at the works of the Creator.
Blacklighting Night

Join us for a night of glowing discovery! Under the beam of UV lights, we’ll uncover the hidden world of nocturnal insects—moths, beetles, and more—as they come alive in vibrant color. We’ll also venture out on short excursions to blacklight scorpions and search for other elusive creatures of the night, like owls, amphibians, and snakes. This hands-on evening is perfect for curious minds and adventurous spirits, combining science, exploration, and wonder in God’s nighttime creation.

Put on your detective hats! We are going wildlife tracking. In this expedition, we search for the clues animals leave behind—paw prints in the mud, feathers caught on a branch, gnawed pinecones, and hidden trails. Together we’ll learn to read these signs like a mystery waiting to be solved, uncovering which creatures passed by, what they were doing, and even where they might be now. This hands-on adventure will sharpen your observation skills, deepen your connection to God’s creation, and give your family the thrill of discovery with every step.
